The minimum order quantity, M.O.Q., is used within Optiply when drawing up purchase order rules. When we want to order a product and this product has a M.O.Q. greater than 1, we always order at least the minimum quantity of the M.O.Q.

In short: If we order, we order at least M.O.Q.

Example:

  • If the M.O.Q. of a product is 5 and the order advice is 3, we round up 3 to 5.

  • If the M.O.Q. of a product is 4 and the order recommendation is 6, the order recommendation remains 6.

To change the MOQ go to the Product Page, select the Suppliers tab, click on Edit and change the MOQ value. Don't forget to save in the end.

The MOQ cannot be lower than 1, this is the default value for any product.

Of course, it is possible to combine M.O.Q. and Lot Size.

It is different for each Integration where the M.O.Q. is set.

Check Integrations to see if the M.O.Q. is available in your system.
