The minimum order quantity, M.O.Q., is used within Optiply when drawing up purchase order rules. When we want to order a product and this product has a M.O.Q. greater than 1, we always order at least the minimum quantity of the M.O.Q.

In short: If we order, we order at least M.O.Q.

Example:

  • If the M.O.Q. of a product is 5 and the order advice is 3, we round up 3 to 5.

  • If the M.O.Q. of a product is 4 and the order recommendation is 6, the order recommendation remains 6.

To change the MOQ just go to the Products Page, select the product and Edit

Change the MOQ value and don't forget to save in the end.

The MOQ cannot be lower than 1, this is the default value for any product.

Of course, it is possible to combine M.O.Q. and Lot Size.

It is different for each link where the M.O.Q. is set. For example, if you use Picqer, it is possible to enter the M.O.Q. there. If you are using Lightspeed, then you can enter the M.O.Q. in our system. Check under Integrations โ†’ Synchronisations whether the M.O.Q. is available in your system.
