π Connecting Lightspeed eCom to Optiply
To connect your Lightspeed eCom (formerly SEOshop) store to Optiply, you need to generate a specific set of API credentials. This allows Optiply to read your product data and update stock levels.
Step 1: Access Developer Settings
Log in to your Lightspeed eCom back office.
Navigate to Settings (Instellingen) in the left-hand menu.
Scroll down to the Developers section.

Step 2: Create a New Key
Click the "New API Key" (Nieuwe API Key) button.
Name: Give the key a recognizable name, such as "Optiply".

Step 3: Configure Permissions
Activate: Ensure the "Activate API key" (Activeer API key) checkbox is checked.
Set Permissions:
Read Access: Check the "Read" box for all categories (Customers, Orders, Products, etc.) to ensure Optiply can analyze your full sales history.
Write Access: Check the "Write" box for Products (Catalog).
Step 4: Save and Copy Credentials
Scroll down to the Authentication section.
Copy Credentials: You will see an API Key and an API Secret. Copy these values immediately and store them securely, or send them directly to your Optiply Onboarding specialist via the requested support channel.
Click "Save" (Opslaan).
β οΈ Important: You may not be able to view the API Secret again after saving. Ensure you have copied it before navigating away.

Why do I need to give "Write" permission?
"Write" permission allows Optiply to send data back to Lightspeed. Specifically, we use this to update the Stock Level of your products after you have processed a purchase order. Without this permission, Optiply cannot sync inventory changes back to your webshop.
Where do I enter these keys?
Once you have the API Key and Secret, log in to Optiply $\rightarrow$ Settings $\rightarrow$ Integrations $\rightarrow$ Add Source. Select Lightspeed and paste the credentials there.
