ABC- XYZ Classification

This feature allows you to categorize your assortment using two independent parameters. This enhancement is particularly beneficial for webshops with a wide range of products, enabling you to set desired service levels for each of the nine categories.

As in the ABC categories, you can set categories by:

  • Margin

  • Revenue

  • Number of sell order Lines

Here you also have the option to do the same for the XYZ categories.

This will allow you to refine the category of products.

So for example, if you set your ABC category by the number of sales order lines and the XYZ by Revenue, this means that you would like your A category products to be the best seller products and from those prioritize the ones that return more profit.
They would be represented by an AX category.

This category can be viewed on the product page or the purchase page.

Now you can set the desired service level across the nine categories according to the strategy you want for your company.

Contrary to the ABC category when the total of the columns must be 100% in the XYZ category the percentage is up to you. But keep in mind that if you set it with the same percentage as the ABC category this means that the XYZ will have no impact and it will be the same as having only the ABC.



Advanced Settings

The advanced settings allow you to set the history length that will influence the forecast that can be up to a year past.
