🟒 The Status Page

The Optiply Status Page provides real-time updates and historical data on system uptime, ongoing incidents, and scheduled maintenance.

Our goal is complete transparency. We want to ensure you always have the information you need to confidently use the app and plan your daily purchasing activities without interruption.

🚦 1. The Dashboard Status Icon

You don't have to leave Optiply to know if the system is healthy! In the top right corner of your Optiply dashboard, you will always see the Status Icon.

This icon changes colour to instantly alert you to the current health of the system:

  • 🟒 Green: All systems are working properly.

  • πŸ”΄ Red: There is an active, reported issue.

  • πŸ”΅ Blue: There is a scheduled update currently taking place.

(Clicking this icon will immediately redirect you to the full Status Page for more details).

⚠️ 2. Understanding Active Incidents

Incidents are the cornerstone of the Status Page. When an issue occurs, our engineering team posts a log of updates so you know exactly what is happening.

Each incident usually goes through a progression of Statuses, and is assigned a severity Impact colour.

Incident Status Progression:

  1. Investigating: We are aware of an issue and are looking into the root cause.

  2. Identified: We have found the problem and are working on a fix.

  3. Monitoring: A fix has been deployed, and we are watching the system to ensure stability.

  4. Resolved: The issue is completely fixed and all systems are normal.

  5. Postmortem: A detailed report explaining why the issue happened and how we will prevent it in the future.

Incident Impact Levels:

The severity of the incident is colour-coded to help you understand how it might affect your workflow:

  • ⚫ None (Black): No impact on core functionality.

  • 🟑 Minor (Yellow): A small feature may be slow or temporarily unavailable.

  • 🟠 Major (Orange): A core feature (like purchasing advice generation) is unavailable.

  • πŸ”΄ Critical (Red): The app is completely down or experiencing severe data sync failures.

πŸ“Š 3. Exploring the Status Page Details

When you open the full Status Page, you can review the overall health of Optiply through several distinct sections:

  • The 90-Day Overview: A quick visual calendar showing the uptime reliability of our core systems over the past three months.

  • Scheduled Maintenance: A chronological list showing what backend updates we have planned for the app in the coming days, including when they will happen and if they will cause any temporary downtime.

  • System Metrics: A graph showing our response times and uptime. You can consult this information by day, week, or month by selecting the timeframe option on the top right-hand side of the chart.

  • Past Incidents: A complete historical log of all past incidents reported, showing the timeline from the initial investigation all the way through to the final resolution.

❓ 4. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What should I do if my Optiply app is glitching, but the Status Icon is Green?

If the Status Page says everything is fully operational but you are experiencing a severe issue, the problem might be isolated to your specific account or your webshop integration. Please contact us immediately at support@optiply.nl or via the in-app chat so we can investigate your specific environment!

Will scheduled maintenance delete my draft orders?

No. Routine system maintenance and updates will never delete your saved data, supplier settings, or draft orders.
