π How To: Apply Filters to Your Search
Finding specific products or suppliers in a massive catalogue can be overwhelming. Optiply offers a powerful filtering system that allows you to quickly narrow down your search, customize your daily view, and even create highly specific data tables for exporting.
Whether you are looking at the Products page or managing Draft Orders on the Purchase page, here is exactly how to apply and combine filters.
ποΈ Step 1: Add a Filter
To start refining your search, navigate to the data table you want to filter (for example, the Purchase or Products page).
Click on the Filters button located at the top left of the data table.
Select Add Filter (or click the 'Select a column' dropdown).
Scroll through the list and select the specific data column you want to filter by (e.g., Category, Order moment id, or Trigger value).
βοΈ Step 2: Define the Search Parameters
Once you select a column, you need to tell the system how to filter that data. Each column type has different mathematical or text-based search parameters you can select.
Depending on the column you chose, you can select parameters such as:
Equals: To find an exact match (e.g., Order moment id Equals 10686243).
Between (range): To find data that falls within two specific numbers or dates.
Is empty: To find items that are missing data in that specific field.
π Step 3: Combine Filters and Column Views
The true power of this system comes from combining multiple rules to create unique, highly targeted tables.
Stacking Filters: You are not limited to just one rule! You can continue clicking Add Filter to stack multiple conditions on top of each other.
Customizing Columns: You can combine your active filters with the visible columns on your page. By hiding columns you don't need and filtering the ones you do, you create a custom view tailored exactly to your current task.
Exporting: Once you have built a unique table using your combined filters and columns, you can easily export this exact, refined view as a file at your convenience!
